Thunderstorms - the wet season finally began

Last night we finally experienced the so called wet season and its typical thunderstorms. Thunder and lightning and really really heavy rain for about 50min, the power in the whole town went off for 30min and a tree decided to fell down onto the parking lot. It missed my car by about 50cm and you wouldn’t believe how glad I am. That would have been such a disaster for all of us. We decided to stay another two nights, just in case its getting there again and we don’t want to get stocked somewhere.
