A day out in Galena (Illinois)

Lucy, the kids and I went to see the former home of the 18th president of the United States, Ulysses S. Grant, a 152 miles west of Naperville, which took us 3 hours each way - Lucy was driving (thank u). And it was definitely worth the ride as Galena is a very cute town and the history we've seen covered mostly all of whats there. The house Grant lived in with wife and 4 children is equipped with most of the original furniture and tells a lot of stories.

Besides I got my rental car today, a Toyota RAV4, a midsize SUV in some kind of blue. I've seen the premium SUVs and wished I had rented one of those, but sitting in the midsize SUV made it pretty clear: it is big enough to host my travel bag, all the shopping I will be doing and myself as well.
Will be leaving Naperville on Saturday morning to first stop Indianapolis.
